We stayed here as a family of four (two adults and two elementary school children). We visited by car and stayed in a four-person room (four single beds). Parking was a time-based parking lot attached to the hotel, and the entrance was easy to find. It was also easy to access the hotel. The price was 20 euros per night. Since it was a time-based parking lot, you can park before checking in, go sightseeing in the city, and then return in the evening. Check-in was self-service, but the staff assisted us on the day, so it went very smoothly. It was our first visit to the Netherlands we are very nervous, but the staff had greatful smiles and our family was able to relax. The room was clean and there was plenty of space. We were able to leave one suitcase open. It was also very quiet outside. The breakfast was varied and very delicious, so our family ate a lot. To get to the city center (where the Anne Frank House and the West Church are located), you can take the tram (line 19) right in front of the hotel, but it takes about 20 minutes to get there, and then a 10-minute walk. If child who can walk by themselves, I think it's no problem. Overall, I thought it was an easy place to access.

We stayed in the XO Hotel Park West for 3 nights and couldn’t fault the stay! To get to the hotel is very easy. From Amsterdam airport, it’s a 10 min train journey and then a 2 min tram journey. The tram stops directly outside the hotel. We arrived late and check in was quick and easy. Staff were really friendly. We requested a double bed before arrival and got our request and stayed in room 716. The room was huge! Only negative was the curtains were disgusting and had horrendous stains on them but other than that, the room was very clean and had everything you need. Getting into central Amsterdam was also a breeze. Tram line outside the hotel goes directly into central Amsterdam and all the tourist attraction's. Great hotel to stay in if you don’t want to stay directly in central Amsterdam and want to pay less. I would 100% stay at the XO Hotels Park West again!

Only my second visit to xo park west my first visit was fantastic which made my choice to return easier had terrible time travelling with our first flight being cancelled so wasn’t able to check in until past 01:00 am on Saturday but had comfortable sleep! However the room had obviously not been cleaned up completely and a window was still open this wasn’t noticed until the morning but I didn’t question it as I just assumed the cleaner more than likely left it open! Little did I know that the last guest)s had used it for smoking in which me and my son on our return home received a email stating that both my son and I have been banned for something that we DID NOT DO!! So clearly the cleaning staff hadn’t done their all round checks correctly! And tbh given how my son and I are being treated we wouldn’t recommend xo hotels to anyone!

It was a great stay, the staff were super helpful, the self check in is awesome, and the price was pretty good. The location so close to Sloterdijk can't be beat, especially if you're wanting to stay in Amsterdam but not be in the super congested, touristy areas. It was very clean, the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome and the mini fridge was extremely helpful, as it is very close to a Lidl, so you can save $ on food. Towels and linens were all very white and unstained, no stranger hairs, bathroom very clean. My only complaint is the pillows left something to be desired, but everything else was fantastic and I will be staying here again!

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is outstanding, easy to access as it is close to the Sloterdijk station which is directly accessible by train from Schiphol. The Molenwerf tram station (Line 19) is also located right outside of the front door you can catch that tram from Sloterdijk to the hotel or just walk. You can use line 19 to easily access the whole city. Or grab the train from Sloterdijk direct to Central Station. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We were able to store our bags when arrived prior to check in and also after we checked out so we could run up to Zaanse Schans for the day prior to departure.
